Manager, Global E2E Product Supply Planning (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week in San Rafael, California, United States

What you will do

• Own end-to-end supply planning for assigned products from drug substance and drug product through finished goods across sites, CMOs, and markets.
• Integrate global demand and supply requirements with Demand Planning and align planning activities with S&OP and AOP cycles.
• Define global inventory positioning and manage inventory health using Weeks of Supply and inventory-turn metrics.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate supply risks while leading scenario planning and capacity simulations with Network Planning.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, Regional Supply Chain, and site teams.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and credible supply plans in SAP IBP, while supporting global supply-chain strategies and performance improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, science, engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of supply chain management and planning experience in a global or multi-plant biotech, pharmaceutical, or consumer products company.
• Experience with global product supply planning and pharmaceutical or biotech Sales & Operations Planning processes.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements, as well as biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning and advanced planning tools.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills in a matrix environment.

Nice to have

• Supply chain management certification such as APICS or CSCP.
• Experience implementing global planning processes and advanced planning and scheduling systems.
• Experience working at both production-site and headquarters levels in an international biotech or pharmaceutical organization.
