What you will do

  • Develop and optimize the five-year portfolio of major capital projects and programs across generation, transmission, electric distribution, gas, clean fuels, and clean transportation systems.
  • Balance project risk, system reliability, resource adequacy, financial investment, customer cost, and execution complexity.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through preliminary design and project development, including scope definition, business cases, alternatives assessment, technology due diligence, cost estimates, schedules, permitting, procurement, and construction strategies.
  • Provide technical analysis, documentation, and testimony for public utility commission and permit filings, and secure regulatory approvals, grants, and financial or tax incentives.
  • Represent hirify.global in stakeholder meetings and advance projects through Investment Review Council, Finance Council, and board governance processes.
  • Build partnerships with Operations, operating companies, corporate organizations, jurisdictional business units, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, construction management, or project management from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 10 years of combined experience in project management, engineering, construction, operations, or maintenance for energy assets.
  • Knowledge of gas, electric distribution, transmission, or energy supply business functions.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience involving strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong financial acumen, understanding of regulatory requirements, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced degree, Professional Engineer registration, and Project Management Professional certification are preferred.
