Maintenance HVAC Mechanic (HVAC)

Location: Mount Holly, North Carolina, United States. Onsite position. Applicants may work in or relocate to Mount Holly, but relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment throughout the plant.
• Diagnose high- and low-voltage electrical systems, pneumatic controls, gas trains, boilers, air compressors, chillers, pumps, and related mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and use meters and gauges safely.
• Repair leaks in coils, pipes, chilled-water, DX, steam, and condensate systems.
• Balance airflow, replace filters, fabricate and install ductwork and sheet-metal parts, and perform electrical installations on HVAC equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance and shop work orders using written, drawn, and verbal instructions.

Requirements

• Four years of documented HVAC maintenance experience in an industrial facility working with mechanical equipment.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Refrigerant certification required.
• Ability to safely use various meters and gauges and periodically update HVAC skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available, including for existing visa holders.
• Must work onsite in Mount Holly, North Carolina.
