Customer Service Representative (Landscape & Irrigation)

Location: Horizon Bend, OR — 62860 NE Boyd Acres Rd, Suite #5, Bend, Oregon 97701. On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, plus up to $2,500 through summer performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Greet walk-in and phone customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations.
• Recommend product solutions, upsell options, and complementary items for professional landscape businesses.
• Prepare sales orders, assist customers with merchandise selection and loading, and support will-call service.
• Follow up with potential and existing customers to introduce opportunities and generate additional business.
• Resolve customer complaints and collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective service.
• Maintain the sales center and assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements

• Strong customer-service attitude, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a cooperative approach.
• Clear spoken and written communication, critical thinking, and the ability to identify customer solutions.
• Good computer and record-keeping skills, with the ability to learn evolving systems, programs, and handheld technology.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Possess or obtain forklift certification and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work on-site in Bend, Oregon, during the stated Monday–Friday schedule.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Irrigation experience or knowledge of other landscape products.
