Director, Reconditioning Operations (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead all aspects of a vehicle reconditioning center, including financial performance, processes, productivity, and quality assurance.
• Manage staffing, operating expenses, efficiency, quality, and productivity through Operations Managers.
• Coordinate with department leaders to establish and achieve supply chain goals.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, retention, leadership development, and performance improvement for the center team.
• Maintain production systems and use root cause analysis to create sustainable short- and long-term improvement plans.
• Review operational reports, identify trends, and guide employee training, evaluations, and development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a business degree or vocational/technical education is preferred.
• Ability to manage and collaborate with employees at all levels and work with corporate groups to achieve operational goals.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to communicate in English is required for effective performance in a safety-sensitive and technical environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance at the Columbus facility is required.

• Automotive experience.
• Supply chain management experience.
