Technical Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, DC, United States

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own delivery of commercial customer programs and partnerships across scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
• Translate customer technical requirements into executable plans and manage milestones, deliverables, and performance tracking.
• Lead coordination across engineering, product, business development, sales, and external customer stakeholders.
• Run stand-ups, milestone reviews, retrospectives, technical deep dives, and program reviews.
• Create program plans, performance reports, integration documentation, customer briefings, and change-request records.
• Support proposals, new opportunities, delivery models, and technical execution strategies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing complex software, aerospace, or cloud-based programs for commercial customers.
• Experience working with engineering and product teams to convert requirements into technical delivery plans.
• Fluency in Agile and Waterfall frameworks and the ability to adapt hybrid execution methods.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve risks, gaps, and dependencies.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with space systems, ground software, or mission operations.
• Experience in fast-moving dual-use technology environments with commercial and government-adjacent customers.
