EH&S Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the environmental, health, and safety strategy for the manufacturing site and provide practical direction to employees and leadership.
• Maintain a visible shop-floor presence, identify workplace hazards, and drive risk elimination and mitigation.
• Interpret OSHA and EPA requirements and translate them into effective plant-level compliance solutions.
• Manage environmental programs covering waste, water, and energy, alongside EHS documentation, permits, and vendors.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation cases and lead incident reporting, investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and promote a zero-harm culture with continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, safety, environmental studies, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and their application in a plant setting.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.
