Specialist Student Learning (Nursing Education)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $49,199.33–$86,253.75 per year

What you will do

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support, tutoring, and remediation for nursing students.
• Prepare students for academic and professional success, including the NCLEX-RN examination and Next Generation NCLEX activities.
• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and clinical learning laboratories, including equipment maintenance, supply ordering, setup, and cleanup.
• Develop clinically based scenarios using high-fidelity patient simulators and coordinate laboratory experiences against course objectives.
• Monitor student progress, document academic and co-curricular outcomes, and communicate updates to academic leadership.
• Support open labs, technical nursing skills practice, and outreach to students with at-risk referrals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; a master’s degree in nursing is preferred, or a master’s degree in education is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification and BLS CPR instructor certification required.
• At least one year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and proofreading skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ACLS and/or PALS preferred.
