Sr. Analyst, Financial Reporting

Location: West Los Angeles, California, USA. Hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and remote work available Thursday-Friday.

Salary: $100,000-$115,000 annually, with a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages from 13 business units, including income statements, balance sheets, and management reports.
• Support reviews of US GAAP audit reports, statutory financial reports, financial statement footnotes, and lease disclosures.
• Manage the Group's lease accounting portfolio under US GAAP and IFRS, including contract reviews, lease analyses, reconciliations, rollforwards, and data validation.
• Research technical accounting issues, interpret new accounting guidance, and draft accounting memos and supporting documentation.
• Serve as the lease accounting and LeaseAccelerator subject matter expert, resolving software issues, supporting configuration and maintenance, and training business-unit accounting teams.
• Collaborate with business partners to improve lease accounting, reporting processes, controls, and compliance projects.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong experience applying ASC 842 and IFRS 16 to lease accounting.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience; Big Four experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with LeaseAccelerator or a similar leasing system is preferred; CPA accreditation is preferred.
