Forward Deployed Product Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with a Downtown SF office

Salary: $155,000–$195,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead a new product line end to end, owning its vision, strategy, and growth roadmap.
• Manage the post-sale relationship for key biopharma accounts and provide a consistent customer experience.
• Consolidate customer requests, feedback, and complaints into actionable product requirements and roadmap priorities.
• Create and present data-driven insight packages, dashboards, and narratives for customer stakeholders.
• Run recurring customer check-ins, identify opportunities, and flag account risks early.
• Partner with business development and engineering on customer-informed improvements, account strategy, renewals, and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer success, solutions, forward-deployed engineering, product management, or a related client-facing role.
• Experience independently managing senior stakeholders at large organizations, including account cadences and escalations.
• Strong data fluency with spreadsheets and ideally SQL or Python for extracting, cleaning, and packaging insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including polished customer-facing decks, dashboards, and insight summaries.
• Regular use of AI tools and comfort building lightweight AI-assisted solutions without engineering support.
• Experience translating customer feedback into product requirements and collaborating with engineering.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with rare disease, genetics, or the biopharma drug development lifecycle.
• Experience with patient-facing or healthcare data platforms.
• Formal product management experience or ownership of a customer-facing platform or tool.
