Financial Accountant (UK and Ireland)

Salary: £46,576–£64,043 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Support month-end close activities, accurate reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations with outsourced finance providers.
• Coordinate Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, expense management, purchase-to-pay, credit control, cash collection, and working capital activities.
• Support VAT, statutory audit, compliance, internal controls, financial policies, and governance requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, HR, and other functions to monitor costs, provide budget visibility, and deliver financial insights.
• Prepare variance analyses, management reports, performance dashboards, monthly reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
• Drive process optimization, automation, data quality improvements, finance transformation, and cross-functional regional finance projects.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of finance experience with knowledge of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and core accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• AAT qualification.

• Power BI skills.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry.
