Propulsion Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California; in-person work at the Playa Vista office

Salary: $45 per hour

What you will do

• Contribute to the development and improvement of spacecraft propulsion systems.
• Develop and improve propulsion fluid systems and propulsion ground support equipment.
• Support design, test engineering, manufacturing, modeling, and simulation activities.
• Participate in hands-on spacecraft build and test operations.
• Own an assigned project with guidance from a dedicated mentor during the 12-week internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated hands-on project experience.
• Experience with fluids or fluid systems.
• Interest or experience in chemical propulsion and/or electrical propulsion.
• Ability to work in person at the Playa Vista office in Los Angeles.
