Intern, Product Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States; relocation is required for the duration of the internship.

Salary: $28.00–$35.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support Military Aircraft production programs at the Design Center and Production Center.
• Evaluate and implement equipment required for production, including assembly fixtures, tools, and test equipment.
• Prepare and execute engineering tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Contribute input on project processes, strategies, and execution within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
• Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0; the department may specify an exact GPA requirement.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship and work onsite in Torrance, California.
• Demonstrate effective communication, a professional disposition, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
• The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
