Product Line Management (IV)

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel up to 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Own product change management and control after product release, including product approvals, Engineering Change Orders, Part Change Notifications, and customer-impacting field service activities.
• Maintain the accuracy of customer-shipped configurations and Bills of Materials through configuration reviews, BOM controls, and Non-Standard Request approvals.
• Own common module roadmaps and implement component roadmaps covering obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reduction.
• Facilitate intercompany alignment on product strategies, pricing, spare-level contents, restricted part orders, product roadmaps, and market proliferation.
• Manage strategic vendor issues and implement cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep or broad expertise in a specialized functional discipline.
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements to products, processes, or services.
• Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, and complexity.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead others through complex problems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for aligning stakeholders around difficult concepts and decisions.
