Principal Product Manager, Product Strategy and Competitive Intelligence (AI)

Salary: $216,000–$260,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Convert third-party research, competitor disclosures, benchmarks, TCO, tokenomics, and data center data into product, pricing, roadmap, and segment decisions.
• Maintain quantitative models showing where RDU inference wins on cost per million tokens, latency, workload type, and competitor configuration.
• Track accelerator specifications, system architectures, networking, storage, cooling, power density, roadmaps, supply signals, and emerging competitors.
• Build agentic pipelines that monitor research, announcements, conference disclosures, regulatory filings, and supply-chain information.
• Automate specification extraction and weekly intelligence briefs with human review for decision-critical information.
• Produce weekly briefs, monthly deep dives, quarterly thesis reviews, and analytical agendas for external research relationships.

Requirements

• 8+ years in semiconductor or AI infrastructure analysis, competitive intelligence, equity research, corporate strategy, or product strategy.
• Experience building quantitative market, economic, accelerator, TCO, capacity, or demand models from primary inputs.
• Fluency in accelerator and system architecture, including compute, memory hierarchy, interconnect, power, inference performance, and cost.
• Track record of translating competitor specifications and roadmap changes into product, pricing, or investment decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Python and LLM APIs, including building or directing agentic research and extraction pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SemiAnalysis TCO, Tokenomics, Accelerator, ClusterMAX, or InferenceMAX models.
• Expertise in inference economics, including cost per million tokens, latency, throughput, prefill and decode disaggregation, and workload mix.
• Experience with rack- and cluster-level networking, optics, cooling, power density, and scale-up and scale-out topologies.
• Capacity planning or GPU economics experience at a cloud, neocloud, or hyperscaler.
• Experience developing investment theses or decision frameworks that redirected roadmaps or capital allocation.
