Senior Product Manager, D&I Tasking Solutions

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or Arlington, VA, with three office days per week. The role requires access to export-controlled information and compliance with applicable U.S. export control requirements.

Salary: $142,800–$178,500 USD annual base salary, plus potential short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own Tip-and-Cue and Tasking Strategy Engine product capabilities for Defense & Intelligence customers.
• Translate mission rules, customer configuration logic, and operational requirements into sensor selection, collection cadence, and constellation tasking workflows.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering to turn recurring field integrations into reusable platform features.
• Build and prioritize a D&I Tasking Solutions roadmap across field engineering, sales, Commercial Tasking, CxS, RTI, and adjacent product teams.
• Represent defense tasking, capacity, and low-latency delivery requirements in shared platform planning.
• Work with compliance and security teams to address export controls, national security constraints, and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of technical product management experience bridging core platform teams and technical field teams.
• Understanding of tasking, scheduling, workflow orchestration systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience translating operational rules, mission logic, or domain-specific processes into system workflows and product requirements.
• Background in geospatial intelligence, satellite tasking, or a related defense technology field.
• Experience prioritizing backlogs, owning roadmaps, and communicating technical trade-offs to engineering, executive, and customer audiences.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite operations, orbital scheduling APIs, constellation orchestration, collection management, or event-driven machine-to-machine architectures.
• Experience scaling vertical product layers on shared platform infrastructure.
• Active or prior U.S. Security Clearance, Secret or TS/SCI.
• Operational experience within or supporting the U.S. Defense & Intelligence Community.
