Technical Operations Engineer

Location: On-site in Denver, New York City, or San Francisco; four days per week in-office and one day remote

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Own and automate end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding workflows.
• Lead the migration of Apple MDM platforms and build Zero-Touch Enrollment and Just-in-Time access automation.
• Configure and manage secure macOS workstations, mobile devices, applications, and packaging workflows.
• Implement zero-trust access controls using SSO, SAML, and MFA.
• Investigate root causes of infrastructure issues instead of applying repetitive short-term fixes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Corporate Security, and People Operations to improve internal tools and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Technical Operations or IT experience.
• Deep troubleshooting experience across macOS.
• Hands-on experience with Apple MDM tools such as Jamf or Kandji and packaging workflows such as AutoPkg.
• Strong automation mindset and the ability to script repetitive manual tasks.
• Ability to explain technical and security changes to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of compliance, data protection, and secure employee offboarding.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced technology startup or high-volume Managed Service Provider environment.
