IT Systems Engineer (Mac/Identity)

What you will do

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable IT infrastructure across identity, endpoints, network, and SaaS.
• Build and maintain automated employee lifecycle workflows to replace manual provisioning.
• Extend internal tooling with Python scripting and AI-assisted workflows.
• Serve as technical escalation point and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot advanced macOS issues and manage fleet via MDM including deployment and compliance.
• Administer identity systems including IdP, SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, and Google Workspace.
• Manage office network infrastructure and troubleshoot connectivity issues end-to-end.
• Own IT projects end-to-end and collaborate cross-functionally with security, engineering, and People Ops.
• Provide face-to-face IT support and maintain knowledge base and runbooks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of IT support or engineering experience, with at least 2 years supporting a majority-Mac fleet
• Advanced macOS system administration and troubleshooting with command-line fluency (bash/zsh) and MDM management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, IdP/SSO platforms, MDM, and ITSM tools.
• Knowledge of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM.
• Scripting skills in Bash/Zsh and Python.
• Solid networking fundamentals: Wi-Fi, LAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Discipline in ticket queue management and SLA adherence.
