Bioprocess Technician III (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: On premise in Sanford, North Carolina, United States. Third shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Salary: $23.40–$39.01 per hour, with eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday, and other schedule-based pay premiums.

What you will do

• Produce drug substances and active biological ingredients in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and help ensure equipment functionality.
• Follow standard operating procedures and complete assignments with moderate supervision.
• Identify and resolve moderately routine production problems and refer procedural deviations to a supervisor.
• Support technical operations, housekeeping, training compliance, and implementation of new process-execution and analysis technology.
• Review work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to applicable standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using standard manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift or push with assistance, and gown into cleanroom environments.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality systems.
