C#/.NET Software Developer (Equities)

Location: NYC, hybrid with at least 3 days onsite per week. hirify.global does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas.

Salary: USD 105,000–130,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide daily production support and resolve escalated tickets with business and technical stakeholders.
• Write, debug, and refactor .NET code to improve and stabilize a live equities back-office system.
• Maintain Perl, Unix Shell, and Windows batch scripts for scheduled jobs and automation.
• Follow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
• Participate in requirements discussions and help design solutions.
• Build new features or small applications and maintain system documentation.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience, preferably in application support with hands-on software development.
• Strong .NET and SQL skills.
• Experience with Perl, Unix Shell, or Windows batch scripting.
• Comfort working in a ticket-driven, process-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills for working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in NYC with at least 3 days onsite per week; U.S. work permit or employment visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with equities or trading back-office systems.
