Senior Professional, Software Engineer (AI/.NET)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise systems and applications for a mortgage technology platform.
• Execute AI-native transformation initiatives, build MCP server capabilities, and develop lender self-service capabilities using approved AI tools.
• Build and own internal services, rate management engines, and GCP-based CI/CD pipelines supporting UI-based and API-driven lender integrations.
• Define ASP.NET Core Web APIs, database schemas, and microservices architecture across full-stack boundaries.
• Use TDD and pair programming while collaborating with QA, product, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Own the full platform lifecycle, including requirements, cloud architecture, deployment, and production incident diagnosis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience developing scalable applications with advanced proficiency in C# and modern .NET, including .NET 8/9.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core APIs, Angular or React, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery.
• Experience with platform-wide troubleshooting, system ownership, LLM APIs, AI-assisted development tools, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across the SDLC using TDD, pair programming, and solution-oriented thinking.

Nice to have

• Experience with Model Context Protocol and custom agentic AI servers in a .NET environment.
• Experience in mortgage technology, closing cost or loan estimation systems, or real estate fintech platforms.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, micro frontends, or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
