Sr Software Engineer I (.NET)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits

Company

Develops and manufactures diabetes technology, including insulin pumps and automated insulin-delivery systems.

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, modify, and test modern web applications and software units.
• Translate high-level requirements into software designs and implementations.
• Build and verify unit and integration tests using Test Driven Development.
• Identify software process improvements, develop proof-of-concept projects, and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support software validation and compliance with privacy, HIPAA, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of cloud or web application software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Core.
• Experience designing, developing, and testing containerized microservices with Docker.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines that deploy containerized services to Kubernetes using Helm.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, REST API contract design, and Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise messaging buses such as Event Hubs, Kafka, or Kinesis.
