Learning and Certification Facilitator (HVAC/Plumbing)

Location: On-site at the Blauvelt, NY manufacturing facility, Monday–Friday. Travel requirements: 25%.

Salary: $96,000–$107,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Create, develop, deploy, and execute a corporate training strategy.
• Deliver technical training through classroom sessions, webinars, videos, and web-based modules.
• Help design curricula covering equipment operation, preventive maintenance, product and service application, manufacturer best practices, troubleshooting, and customer solutions.
• Guide customers, service technicians, contractors, and internal personnel in establishing short- and long-term training priorities.
• Deliver sales training and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve technical value proposition proficiency.
• Track customer progress on knowledge competencies and certifications and communicate business issues or opportunities to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or concentration.
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering training in a business setting.
• Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and comfort presenting to audiences of approximately 12 people.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, safety practices, and procedures.
• Successful employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.
• Ability to work on-site in an office and manufacturing-floor environment, including use of required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Articulate.
• CEU and CEC certification.
• Strong time-management, interpersonal, communication, and self-starter skills.
