Principal/Senior Transmission Instructor

Salary: $97,600–$138,600 per year

What you will do

• Provide professional safety and technical training covering substations, breakers, and relays.
• Analyze, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training curricula and processes.
• Manage training programs and coordinate regional apprentice programs.
• Lead regional training staff, provide direction to trainers, and mentor employees.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with operational leadership on training initiatives and change management.
• Lead cross-functional training teams and committees while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Technical studies or experience in power plant or distribution operations, science, engineering, or maintenance may substitute for the degree.
• At least eight years of progressive training or practical experience is required; journeyman experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and Microsoft Office applications.
