Manager, Learning And Development - Low Voltage

Location: USA, Bentonville Home Office; must reside in California, Nevada, Utah, or Colorado, or near a major airport; travel up to 85% of the year

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead safety training covering hazard recognition, risk assessment, stop-work authority, PPE, fall prevention, electrical safety, and driving safety.
• Train technicians in retail backrooms, rooftops, equipment rooms, and other access environments.
• Deliver technical instruction on CCTV, fire alarms, public address systems, intrusion systems, and low-voltage cabling.
• Coach troubleshooting, quality standards, and accurate technical documentation.
• Develop training materials, learning paths, and assessments.
• Evaluate competency, maintain training records, and partner with field leaders to improve training effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience with low-voltage and life-safety/security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, public address systems, and intrusion alarms.
• NICET certification or an equivalent industry-recognized credential in fire and life-safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices for field service and installation environments.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading technicians.
• Ability to provide hands-on instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, education, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience without the degree.

Nice to have

• Instructional design software experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing projects.
• Master’s degree, project management certification, or Six Sigma certification.
