Senior Software Engineer (AI Security)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted and must not require employer sponsorship.

Base salary: $125,000–$209,000 in Canada or $153,000–$255,000 in the United States, plus bonus eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product development from research and architecture through production.
• Build and ship AI-powered security products across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Develop scalable interfaces and systems that support real user workflows.
• Define problems, make engineering decisions, and execute with minimal specifications and high autonomy.
• Use LLMs and AI tooling to accelerate development and improve developer productivity.
• Iterate based on real usage while improving systems, code quality, and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience building end-to-end products covering UI, APIs, systems, and deployment.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• High ownership, first-principles thinking, pragmatic decision-making, and the ability to work independently in a low-structure environment.
• Experience or strong interest in AI-powered development, including LLMs, agents, automation, or copilots.
• Approximately 4+ years of engineering experience across frontend and backend is expected for most candidates, although years of experience are not strictly required.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States without employer sponsorship is required.
