Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; travel to customer sites is typically 30–40% depending on account load.

Total compensation: CAD 175,000–CAD 240,000 annually, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Deploy onsite with strategic customers to map security, risk, and compliance workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• Gather requirements from practitioners and executives and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Build AI-native solutions using LLMs, ML models, and modern AI tooling to automate analysis and reduce manual work.
• Analyze customer and platform data, including translating security ratings into Annualized Loss Expectancy, Value at Risk, and ROI.
• Design and deploy integrations, pipelines, and tools connecting hirify.global with SIEM, GRC, ticketing, data warehouse, and other systems.
• Architect solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, prototype rapidly, productionize software, and feed customer insights into the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered products or features with LLMs, agentic frameworks, or ML models.
• Working data analysis and data science skills, including risk quantification, benchmarking, and exposure modeling.
• Strong full-stack fluency across backend services, APIs, scripting, data pipelines, REST, webhooks, SSO/SAML, and SIEM connectors.
• Architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with the ability to fit solutions into existing customer cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, enterprise discovery, independent delivery, and comfort working in ambiguous customer-facing environments.

• Prior experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or risk management.
