Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; requires deployment and travel to customer sites, typically 20–40%.

Total compensation: $180,000–$240,000 annually, including base salary and bonus, plus potential equity and performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Deploy with strategic customers to map security, risk, and compliance workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• Gather requirements from practitioners and executives, then design solutions around existing customer data, processes, and decision logic.
• Build AI-native solutions using LLMs, ML models, and modern AI tooling to automate analysis and quantify cyber risk.
• Design and deploy integrations, pipelines, and tools connecting hirify.global with SIEM, GRC, ticketing, and data warehouse systems.
• Architect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, rapidly prototype them, and harden successful solutions into production-quality software.
• Own technical relationships with key accounts and connect customer feedback with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant customer-facing, forward-deployed, or solutions engineering work.
• Hands-on experience building shipped solutions with AI, LLMs, agentic frameworks, or ML models.
• Data analysis and data science experience, including risk quantification, benchmarking, or exposure modeling.
• Strong full-stack skills covering backend services, APIs, scripting, data pipelines, REST, webhooks, SSO/SAML, and SIEM connectors.
• Architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with the ability to design for existing customer cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills, enterprise discovery experience, independent delivery ability, and willingness to travel to customer sites 20–40%.
