Product Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in New York City

Salary: $175K–$260K estimated base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Build product experiences for accounting and finance teams.
• Develop systems for financial data ingestion, transformation, matching, projection, and reporting.
• Learn a complex accounting and finance domain and identify effective abstractions.
• Contribute to product direction and solve foundational problems in financial data management.
• Collaborate with a high-pace, high-integrity product and engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Philosophy, or a related field.
• High motivation, agency, and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work in person in New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience building software in complex domains.
• Fintech or accounting-related experience.
• Experience founding a business or building products from scratch.
