2026 Intern Conversion: 2027 Grocery Area Manager (Retail)

Location: Onsite at 1729 State Rd 8, Auburn, Indiana, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement business plans for the assigned grocery area by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity, prepare and analyze business reports, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Maintain quality, safety, logistics, and company policy standards through training, compliance monitoring, and documentation.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate associates and leaders, including supporting hiring and promotion activities.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, inventory, and troubleshooting of operational systems, hardware, and software with internal technology teams and vendors.
• Build stakeholder relationships and implement business solutions aligned with customer and business needs.

Requirements

• Must have completed a Summer 2026 Walmart or Sam's Club internship to be eligible.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Ability to supervise associates, coordinate workloads, and manage facility operations.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or Logistics.
• Ability to use business reports, data analysis, and operational best practices to make decisions.
• Ability to work onsite at the Auburn, Indiana facility.
