System Safety Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Conduct Functional Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessments, and risk analyses for military aircraft and systems through certification.
• Perform Particular Risk Analyses, Zonal Safety Analyses, and Common Mode Analyses.
• Define and manage safety requirements, safety evidence, procedures, and limitations.
• Influence aircraft and systems architecture to achieve the required safety and integrity levels.
• Interface with engineering, project management, design teams, airworthiness authorities, industrial partners, customers, and suppliers.
• Review, approve, and apply supplier data related to safety and reliability.

Requirements

• Master's degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Physical Science, or a similar discipline.
• Knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems.
• At least 2 years of systems engineering experience involving safety assessment, airworthiness, or certification.
• Experience with safety tools such as Isograph FaultTree+ or Reliability Workbench.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, meticulousness, and safety-oriented working practices.

Nice to have

• System Safety Assessment experience.
• German language skills.
