Sr Validation Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Sophia Antipolis, France; onsite, with no remote work available

What you will do

• Validate manufactured Power Management ICs for functional correctness in a laboratory environment.
• Interpret IC functional specifications and create validation techniques, test plans, and test cases.
• Set up laboratory test benches, including hardware boards and PCB designs.
• Code, execute, and automate validation test suites using software and laboratory hardware.
• Gather and analyze test data and prepare validation reports within agreed schedules.
• Collaborate with circuit design, customer applications, software, and QA engineers across multiple sites.

Requirements

• University degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of post-silicon bench validation experience.
• Knowledge of power management applications and voltage regulators, including Buck, Buck-Boost, and LDO devices.
• Expertise in laboratory automation, board-level analog and digital circuit design, and PCB schematic creation.
• Proficiency in Python for laboratory automation hardware environments, with strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English; willingness to undertake occasional international travel.
