What you will do

• Chair the Avionics Committee and provide technical leadership and arbitration across avionics domains.
• Ensure coherent avionics architecture and system integration while validating design choices against contractual, planning, safety, and maintainability objectives.
• Manage end-to-end development, qualification, certification, and implementation for new helicopter variants, production, and fleet projects.
• Coordinate development and testing with internal teams, partner companies, suppliers, customers, and authorities.
• Lead technical reviews and milestone gates, including PDR, CDR, and ERM, while controlling interfaces and change impacts.
• Report engineering and qualification status, risks, critical paths, achievements, and forecasts through dashboards and KPIs, and support closure of contractual non-compliances.

Requirements

• Senior technical background with strong project management and customer relations experience.
• Knowledge of engineering, helicopter systems, avionics systems, planning, performance measurement, and problem solving.
• Proven experience with qualification and certification activities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical decision forums and demonstrate strong communication and arbitration skills.
• Negotiation-level English is required.
• Strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.

Nice to have

• Experience with avionics systems.
• French, German, or Italian language skills.
