Realty Project Coach

Location: Mount Pleasant, Michigan, United States; frequent travel across the US required, with up to 80% time away from home

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annual salary, plus possible performance bonuses and stock compensation

Walmart is a large retail corporation operating stores and clubs across the United States.

What you will do

• Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US.
• Own project execution in assigned stores, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and minimal disruption to store operations.
• Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to store leadership and other stakeholders.
• Supervise, train, mentor, evaluate, and recognize hourly associates.
• Resolve concerns and escalations involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Implement business solutions, monitor results, and adapt to changing operational demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area.
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Primarily work overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours.
• Frequent travel is required, including travel up to 1,000 miles from the home store and assignments lasting 17–21 days.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• One year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
