Realty Project Coach (Retail)

Location: Aurora, Illinois, United States; based at a home store with frequent travel to surrounding states and other U.S. project locations

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annually, plus potential performance bonuses and stock compensation

What you will do

• Own the execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders while minimizing disruption to store operations.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates, including assigning duties and recognizing performance.
• Partner with store leadership, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve concerns and keep projects on track.
• Work primarily overnight shifts lasting approximately 10–12 hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area.
• Knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Frequent travel is required, including being away from home approximately 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time.
• Required company training and assessments must be successfully completed.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management Professional certification.
