Senior Customer Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with regional focus in Istanbul, Turkey; available location listed as Dubai, UAE. Travel of up to 20–50% may be required for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and in-person collaboration.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, validation, demonstrations, architectural design, and proof-of-concept planning with enterprise customers and Account Executives.
• Map customer infrastructure across DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, network security, Workers, and related hirify.global services to appropriate architectures.
• Design onboarding and migration blueprints, guide customer engineering teams, and oversee implementation, technical health, risk, and time-to-value.
• Carry a variable quota, support new business acquisition and account expansion, and lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews for executive stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion while identifying integration risks and remediation strategies.
• Use AI agents, LLMs, scripting, and internal platforms to automate RFP responses, sandbox provisioning, telemetry monitoring, and documentation.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Ability to design and explain complex enterprise network and security architectures and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments, with knowledge of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• Depth in at least four technical areas including Internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI-assisted workflows, coding and scripting, or developer platforms.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience creating technical workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding materials.
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, and model-access controls.
• Understanding of PCI DSS, HIPAA, or SOC 2 requirements.
• Background in hyperscalers, digital-native companies, distributed systems environments, or startups.
