React Senior Software Engineer (Patching)

Location: Remote work is available from the USA for residents of CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, OH, and WA. Hybrid work is available through offices in Austin, Texas, and Tampa, Florida. Onsite interviews may be required. Chicago city limits are excluded.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year for roles based in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Washington, or New York.

What you will do

• Develop design system components and patterns using React and Storybook.
• Build robust, extensible, accessible, adaptive, and responsive UI components with designers and product teams.
• Write secure, maintainable front-end code and participate in code reviews.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and document technical processes.
• Provide constructive feedback on design choices and code while improving systems through refactoring.

Requirements

• 7+ years of recent experience with JavaScript and CSS.
• 5+ years of recent experience with React.
• Experience with AWS instance management.
• Experience with design system tools such as Figma and Storybook.
• Experience with accessibility, internationalization, adaptive UI, responsive design, and front-end testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
