Senior Frontend Engineer, Ads Creative (AI)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $190,800–$267,100 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Own the technical design and delivery of complex frontend features across Ads Manager's creative and recommendation workflows.
• Translate AI-backed capabilities into interfaces that advertisers can understand, steer, and refine.
• Partner with product and design to resolve ambiguous requirements and make effective engineering trade-offs.
• Develop reusable frontend patterns and components for a unified campaign creation experience.
• Instrument experiences, evaluate experiments and product metrics, and use results to guide iteration.
• Improve architecture, testing, observability, performance, accessibility, code quality, and engineering practices while mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Practical experience using Codex, Cursor, Claude, or comparable agentic coding tools.
• Proven ability to independently deliver complex frontend projects from technical design through launch and iteration.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, component design, testing, and API integration.
• Experience building polished interfaces with attention to usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Strong communication, collaboration, experimentation, code review, documentation, and technical mentorship skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with advertising, campaign management, creative tooling, or complex business applications.
• Experience designing interfaces for generative AI, machine learning, or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with asset management, media uploads, image editing, creative versioning, or content generation workflows.
• Experience with shared component libraries, design systems, large frontend codebases, performance, testing, or accessibility improvements.
