Marketing Analytics Intern (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid at the downtown Chicago headquarters, with in-office work two days per week. Candidates must be local or able to relocate independently; relocation assistance is not provided. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Monitor funnel metrics through reports and dashboards to track channel performance and diagnose deviations.
• Use SQL and Python to analyze funnel trends, quantify drop-off drivers, and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Update and maintain dbt data models in Snowflake to support streamlined reporting.
• Enhance Periscope dashboards with new charts and metrics for marketing funnel visibility.
• Partner with Marketing, Risk, and Engineering on strategy changes, releases, and post-release impact analysis.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, operations research, quantitative finance, physics, engineering, or computer science.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Python.
