2027 Business Analytics Intern

Location: New York, New York, United States

Annual base pay: $100,000–$115,000, prorated based on the internship start and end dates.

What you will do

• Discover, interpret, and communicate meaningful patterns in data to support better decision making.
• Acquire and process data to solve business problems across risk, trading, accounting, operations, and business development.
• Use Python, SQL, and Power BI to transform and analyze data.
• Improve data quality, streamline manual processes, and build reports and analytics.
• Support the reporting infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data engineering and analytics tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in trading and hedge fund strategies.
