Data Analytics Engineer Intern (Data Analytics)

What you will do

• Support engineering project planning and execution through data analysis, metrics, and reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and tools for project status, resource utilization, and engineering performance visibility.
• Analyze engineering and project data to identify trends and support effort and resource planning.
• Collect and validate data while contributing to process improvement activities.
• Develop automation solutions and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights and maintain analytics documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, data science, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, software development, automation, or engineering projects through coursework, internships, or research.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the summer internship term; candidates graduating before July 2027 should apply to entry-level full-time roles.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn new technologies and business processes.
