Realty Project Coach (Construction)

Location: Ankeny, Iowa, United States; based at a home store with frequent travel across the US. The role requires overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours and being away from home approximately 80% of the time, including 17–21 day periods. Travel may extend up to 1,000 miles from home.

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annually, plus potential performance bonuses and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Own project execution at assigned stores and communicate plans, changes, risks, and obstacles to stakeholders.
• Partner with store leadership and team leads to supervise hourly associates and resolve store, supplier, and associate concerns.
• Lead, train, mentor, recognize, and develop associates while identifying career opportunities.
• Build stakeholder relationships, monitor project results, and adapt execution to changing business needs.
• Work primarily overnight and travel frequently to support projects in surrounding states and other US locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Relevant experience may include project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area.
• Knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, or store design.
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
• Reliable transportation and successful completion of required training and assessments.
• Availability for overnight shifts, frequent travel, and extended periods away from home is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience leading a cross-functional team.
• Project Management Professional certification.
