Technical Program Manager (Cyber), Public Sector

Location: Onsite with the customer in the Columbia, Maryland area 4 days per week; travel of at least 25% is required.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional project teams delivering customer AI/ML objectives.
• Own account plans, project plans, onboarding, implementation, and end-to-end execution.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of cyber evaluation datasets covering malicious network traffic, cryptographic systems, adversarial LLM prompts, threat intelligence, and cyber ethics.
• Track deployment of Scale software in customer environments and systems.
• Manage relationships from executive stakeholders to end users and identify operational pain points.
• Partner with customer engineering teams and Scale engineers to resolve product and operational issues.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph is required.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with government institutions.
• Deep knowledge of network activity, ethical hacking, cybersecurity preparedness, and cyber incidents.
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong cross-functional influence, emotional intelligence, communication, presentation, diligence, and organizational skills.
• Availability for onsite customer work in the Columbia, Maryland area 4 days per week and at least 25% travel.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of program management, operations, or customer-facing experience.
• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with a government institution.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience deploying software into secure cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of MLOps and generative AI workflows or products.
