Banking Relationship Specialist (Senior Relationship Banker) (Retail Banking)

What you will do

• Build professional relationships with customers, assess financial needs, recommend suitable solutions, and submit referrals to banking partners.
• Open and service deposit accounts, including complex business accounts, and originate a consumer loan portfolio.
• Lead outbound business development and community involvement activities.
• Coach banking center team members on relationship-building and customer service practices.
• Process account transactions accurately, minimize errors and fraud, and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with business partners and provide backup support to other retail banking roles and locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Knowledge of business and consumer banking products required.
• Experience explaining bank products, online and mobile banking, and banking cards is preferred.
• Leadership or coaching experience and a record of achieving sales or financial targets are strongly preferred.
• NMLS registration, or successful completion of the NMLS process within 30 days of hire, is required.
