Financial Relationship Banker (Lake City, MI)

Location: Lake City, Michigan, United States; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs.
• Recommend deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.
• Provide customer service, resolve issues, and generate relationship-growth opportunities through appointments, referrals, and follow-up programs.
• Educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking technology.
• Refer customers to other banking areas and build internal partnerships.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or relevant military administration, contracting, or civil affairs.
• Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fingerprinting and additional background checks may be required under NMLS regulations.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree and one or more years of relevant customer service and sales experience.
• Knowledge of banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, deposit products, and presentation skills.
• Comfort using mobile and online banking services.
