Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for facilities, machinery, and production equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment.
• Lead the maintenance department and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with the Production Manager.
• Build and develop mechanical and preventive maintenance teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Manage outside contractors, installations, capital equipment projects, materials, spare parts, and maintenance records.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, efficiency, safety, and operating costs.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 years of experience in the position and 4 years managing people or projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or vocational studies.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Regular and predictable attendance at the Baytown facility is required.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
• 10 or more years of experience working in the position.
• 6 or more years of experience managing people or projects.
• Master's degree.
