Maintenance Technician II (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite manufacturing role

Starting rate: $31.47/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential

What you will do

• Perform planned, predictive, preventive, and emergency maintenance on automated equipment, electrical distribution systems, and mechanical machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC controls, DC drives, motors, relays, switchboards, pneumatic conveyors, and complex electrical systems.
• Inspect equipment using ammeters, meggers, gauges, and OSHA-based procedures to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Read schematics and technical prints, install and wire electrical conduit, and assemble new production-line machinery.
• Track downtime and breakdown metrics, maintain repair logs, order replacement parts, and support HVAC and plumbing upkeep.

Requirements

• Trade school certification, an associate degree in industrial maintenance, or a journeyman-level equivalent.
• Experience with three-phase power, control circuits, schematics, and standard diagnostic tools.
• Ability to investigate root causes of electrical and mechanical failures.
• Commitment to OSHA safety standards and active communication with production teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday schedule.
• Preferred: 3+ years of multi-craft electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance experience, including automated machinery and plant utility systems.
