IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States; onsite

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base compensation per year, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Build, administer, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Entra identity, authentication, and access management.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking, including switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Implement and maintain servers, storage, virtual environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
• Operate Microsoft Defender security controls, monitor alerts, and manage patching and vulnerabilities across endpoints and cloud workloads.
• Design and test disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, incident response, and business continuity procedures.
• Automate infrastructure operations with PowerShell, Python, and Bash while documenting changes and mentoring service desk staff on complex escalations.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Boulder, Colorado, United States and collaboration with a global IT team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced hands-on enterprise network engineering across routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, network protocols, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, conditional access, multi-factor authentication, and joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Defender, automation scripting, disaster recovery, backup verification, and business continuity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune or JAMF.
• ITIL and IT service management experience.
• Familiarity with ISO, NIST, POPIA, GDPR, or HIPAA requirements.
• Computer Systems Validation experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in multinational or corporate environments.
