TL;DR

IT Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared) (Aerospace): Designing, administering, and optimizing Apex’s systems, networks, cloud infrastructure, and security environments with an accent on infrastructure engineering, AWS GovCloud, and enterprise platform administration. Focus on building server and network solutions, automating administration with PowerShell, Bash, and Python, and solving complex Tier 3 infrastructure issues in a cleared aerospace environment.

Location: Full-time onsite in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, California, USA. Must be a US Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

What you will do

Design, implement, administer, and optimize systems, servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers across their full lifecycle.
Administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
Design and manage LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, and network policies.
Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
Lead infrastructure projects, provide Tier 3 support, automate administration, and document configurations and solutions.

Requirements

5–7 years of progressive hands-on experience in IT engineering, systems administration, network engineering, or a related discipline.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Strong experience with server deployment, systems administration, networking, troubleshooting, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and AWS GovCloud environments.
Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting.
US citizenship, active TS/SCI Security Clearance, and full-time onsite availability in Playa Vista, Los Angeles are required.
