AVP, Compute and Microsoft Azure Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain Windows Server and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, access controls, and operating system templates.
• Monitor server and Azure resource performance, availability, health, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, migrations, and hybrid cloud integrations with minimal disruption.
• Drive automation-first architecture using Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify environmental risks, maintain technical documentation, and support technology roadmaps.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Azure services across compute, storage, networking, databases, and Azure architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure security, RBAC, Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, monitoring, and management groups.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Azure governance, Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Cost Management.
• 5+ years of experience with hybrid cloud solutions using Azure Arc and familiarity with Azure data services.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure management, DNS, ACLs, CIS hardening controls, audit compliance, PowerShell, and automation scripting.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GitHub, Atlassian, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, ManageEngine, Infoblox, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
